During Pride Month, we aim to spotlight extraordinary individuals and businesses within the Brooklyn community who exemplify the values of inclusion, resilience, and unity. Each week, we will celebrate one individual or business whose contributions have significantly impacted the LGBTQ+ community and beyond. This initiative is designed to honor achievements that foster acceptance, create opportunities, and build a strong sense of belonging within our diverse and vibrant neighborhood.
Honorees will include leaders who advocate for equality, business owners who create inclusive spaces and jobs, and individuals whose community work inspires understanding and collaboration. These people and organizations break down barriers, bring neighbors together, and help bridge cultural differences, demonstrating the power of unity in diversity.
