Position Overview

Osner’s FC is seeking a passionate and outgoing Supporters Relations Coordinator to build and maintain strong relationships with our supporters and the broader community. This role is dedicated to increasing supporters’ loyalty, growing the fan base, and promoting inclusiveness through meaningful engagement and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, a love for soccer, and a commitment to fostering a positive connection between the club and its supporters.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supporter Engagement: Actively engage with supporters to understand their needs, gather feedback, and strengthen their loyalty to the club.
  • Community Outreach: Develop and implement outreach programs to attract new supporters and connect with diverse groups in the community.
  • Event Coordination: Organize and participate in supporter-focused events, including meet-and-greets, watch parties, and game-day activities, to enhance the fan experience.
  • Fan Loyalty Programs: Assist in creating and managing loyalty programs or initiatives to reward and retain dedicated supporters.
  • Inclusivity Promotion: Work on strategies to ensure supporter activities are inclusive, diverse, and reflective of the community.
  • Communication Support: Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to share updates, events, and promotions targeted at supporters.
  • Feedback Reporting: Serve as a bridge between supporters and the club, providing actionable insights to improve engagement and fan satisfaction.
  • Game-Day Support: Represent the club during matches, ensuring supporter needs are met and fostering a vibrant, inclusive atmosphere.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse groups of people.
  • Experience in customer service, community relations, or event coordination is a plus.
  • Passion for soccer and a deep understanding of the supporter culture.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and game days as needed.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and basic office tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Suite).
  • Multilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish, French, or other languages) are highly desirable.
  • Self-motivated and organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and responsibilities.

Credentials

  • A high school diploma is required; college coursework or a degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field is preferred.
  • Prior experience in community engagement, event planning, or supporter relations is highly desirable.

Hourly Wage

  • Entry-Level: $17–$21/hour (0–2 years of experience).
  • Mid-Level: $21–$28/hour (2–5 years of experience).
  • Experienced Professionals: $28–$35/hour (5+ years of experience or extensive supporter engagement expertise).
